Server Update
The Advanced Query Editor has been updated with significant additional functionality.
1) Completely rewritten in ActionScript 3 and feels 'solid as a rock'. JavaScript is no longer utilized with this Editor. Many additional features including data visualization of query results (graphs).
2) Trial queries, which allow inspection of the results and adjustment of sort of results within the page - without changing 'Order by'.
3) A much improved, quicker interface that allows for additional features to be added at a later date.
The Editor will undergo additional improvements throughout June and will remain a focus of Younicycle. We believe it to be the Most Advanced Query Editor on the web and it will only get better.
An additional brochure (pdf - for print) has been developed for the Linux Conference Southeast. This was designed using the Template Editor of Younicycle and is 2, 11" x 17", duplexed sheets. Be aware that the large file size (approx 10 meg) is because it is for Print (not web). Images are 300 dpi - and there are many images. It can be found by clicking the link for current Documentation.
Younicycle had its first sale of the Younicycle Server Package in Great Britain, to be used by a web development firm. A shopping cart for the Server Package is being set up for online purchase and will be ready in early July.
Decisions have been finalized on Reseller discounts for the Younicycle Server Package, TBA in early July. Resellers will be pleased as they are significant.
Many additional features and improvements since the last news post to include; a much enhanced html editor, a garbage can to help avoid accidental deletes, improved back up functionality + fixing of several, trivial bugs.
The next update will be the 1st week in July & the most significant of the year, to date.
