Web System Arrangement

When there are many objects on the canvas, manual alignment becomes inconvenient. The GYRE editor offers automated alignment of objects. To align, follow these steps:

  1. Select a group of objects that needs to be aligned
  2. Select appropriate aligning method in the Arrangement group in the toolbox
  3. After pressing the button on the toolbar, selected objects will be aligned.

Change the order and overlap of the elements.
If there is a need to move an element behind another element, or to the foreground or the background use .

moves element to the foreground (in front of all other elements)
moves the element a level below
moves the element a level above
moves the element to the background (behind all other elements)

Overlap use example:

Starting position - a group of Filler objects

Middle object is selected

 Move to foreground" is applied

Move to background" is applied.

To align items horizontally or vertically .

align along left border
align center horizontally
align along right borders
align along top borders
align center vertically
align along bottom borders

To proportionally distribute objects use .

defuse proportionally horizontally
defuse proportionally vertically

An example of aligning and distributing a group of radiobuttons:

Starting placement - radiobuttons scattered on the canvas.

Selecting the group.

After using "align along left border" and "proportionally distribute vertically" the radiobuttons are arranged orderly.
