When there are many objects on the canvas, manual alignment becomes inconvenient. The GYRE editor offers automated alignment of objects. To align, follow these steps:
Change the order and overlap of the elements.
If there is a need to move an element behind another element, or to the foreground or the background use .
|moves element to the foreground (in front of all other elements)|
|moves the element a level below|
|moves the element a level above|
|moves the element to the background (behind all other elements)|
Overlap use example:
Starting position - a group of Filler objects
Middle object is selected
Move to foreground" is applied
Move to background" is applied.
To align items horizontally or vertically .
|align along left border|
|align center horizontally|
|align along right borders|
|align along top borders|
|align center vertically|
|align along bottom borders|
To proportionally distribute objects use .
|defuse proportionally horizontally|
|defuse proportionally vertically|
An example of aligning and distributing a group of radiobuttons:
Starting placement - radiobuttons scattered on the canvas.
Selecting the group.
After using "align along left border" and "proportionally distribute vertically" the radiobuttons are arranged orderly.
