According to Google, "Google Drive is the new home for Google Docs."  This documentation will mention Google Drive when speaking about all files and Google Docs (with type of Doc) when speaking about specific types of docs or files.

Google Drive allows users to 'Sync files between all devices with Google Drive for your Mac or PC'.  In other words, sync between your Desktop (A) and your online Google Drive (B).  Younicycle allows you to sync files between your online Google Account (B) and Younicycle's backup system (C). 

In theory, (A) = (B) = (C).  As of this writing, Google Drive is experiencing difficulty in correctly syncing files (A) to (B) and is sporadically creating duplicate (redundant) files.  Be aware that this is a Google issue, not Younicycle, though we are studying means of avoiding this sync/duplication issue between (B) and (C).
