Web System Edit page

When you hover the mouse over a page name it brings up a menu:

  • Content
  • Properties
  • Export
  • Save as theme
  • XML source

Content item starts the GYRE, where you can fill the page with content, link data sources, etc.
To edit the page properties, choose the Properties menu. A dialog box similar to the Add Page will appear.
Page properties dialog box contains the following elements:

  • Page Name – a part of the URL which makes possible to view page content from the outside.
  • Page Title – page title is displayed in the window title bar of the web-browser.
  • Import page – allows you to load a previously saved XML source or theme.
  • Page Description – brief description of the page. This field can be indexed by search engines.
  • Page Keywords – list of keywords found on the page. Can be indexed by search engines as well.
  • Page theme – This option overrides the default theme for the page. When you select Empty theme, the website's Master theme will be used.
  • On Before Load action – sets the action that triggered before the page loads. Can be used for user authentication and redirect to other pages. For more information see section Actions.
  • Exclude from sitemap – if this option is set, the page will be excluded from the site map.
  • 404 page – This option defines the page that user will see when accessing a non-existent resource of the site (404 error). Only one page within the site can have this option turned ON.

Page properties

Export button allows you to save the page in XML format on the local computer. The page can be subsequently imported into any of the Younicycle's sites.
Another option may be useful for developers (Save as theme) - it is possible to save a page as a theme.
