Additional info
Younicycle can store almost any type of image. JPGs, PNGs and GIFs can also be included with a Template for PDF's, or easily placed on Applications & Sites. There are 3 basic methods for importing images:
1) Upload an image from your desktop.2) Upload batch (an archive) of images from your desktop.3) Reference the url of an image that is accessible, such as an image on the web.
In addition, you may upload images from a digital device, such as a digital camera.
There are also several ways to View an image from within your account.
From your Menu, select New --> Image.Click Browse to retrieve an image from your desktop. This will open a window to your Desktop files. After you locate the image, select Open.Give it a description. This is important, as you can search for images within your account based on Name or Description.
Make sure to give all images a description. Images are searchable.
- Alternatively, you can also use the URL of an image and reference its URL.- You can give it a different name than what is within your system.- You can include an additional alternate High res image. This is critical for print.- You can make it available for Chat.- You can upload an entire archive (zip, tar) of images, selectively or as a group.- It can be 'private' or if checked, Public. This is the normal choice.
