All of us sit on both sides of the Great Divide. It just depends on the task.
The Great Divide
All of us have our strengths & weaknesses.
A few, very talented developers can draw, design, write SQL, create forms, make layouts, write javascript, write Php, design solid & user friendly GUI's, admin a server and write clear, understandable text.
The writer of this page is not a member of that select group. I need help sometimes and when I do, I find someone that already is an expert. If I watch that person closely, either:- Next time, I'll be able to do it myself .. or ..- No way I'll ever get it. I'll always need help.
I can't draw and it won't help if I practice 12 hours a day for a month. A five year old's remark: "That's ugly! You did that on purpose!" Nope. Raw talent.
Younicycle has room for both types of people. The skilled developer that can perform all tasks, but also the person that is proficient at one task.
Younicycle narrows the Great Divide & makes complex issues simple, allowing more people to expand their capabilities without experts' assistance. But let's be honest. Most of us have at least one weakness. Collaborate with an expert and as you do, learn.
